Prep- Food

Hello Readers,
I've recently discovered that dancing can become almost impossible if you don't build up your strength, balance, and stamina. So to start of you want to be eating a healthy diet (not too much carbohydrates, fat or low protein foods), try to eat 5 fruit/vege a day.
You don't want to eat low protein food because it generally means high sugar or fat content and short lasting energy (meaning you will conk out faster and will want to eat more).
Try to add something healthy to all your meals e.g. if having crackers have some fruit and maybe some cheese to bulk up the snack.
You should NEVER skip breakfast, lunch or dinner (even if you only have a light meal). Attempt to avoid over snacking in between meals (this can spoil your appetite) but if it is light and healthy it is fine. If your feeling a bit low don't be afraid to have something sugary like chocolate or lollies, remember sugar isn't bad for you.. in fact fat and sugar are good for if kept in moderation!
Finally the last pieces of advice is not to push yourself past your comfort zone just ease into the new diet and last but not least EXERCISE! even if you only go for a run or bike once a week get out there and enjoy the outdoors, being a couch potato is not good for your body. Good Luck
Matthew
